SEE IT IN THE SETTING
Pressed flower art can anchor an entire room in something living and meaningful. The organic shapes and botanical textures warm spaces that might otherwise feel formal, drawing the eye with a quiet authority that no print can replicate.
When Lawless Design was creating a family retreat in Sunapee, New Hampshire, they knew the dining area needed something that could hold its own against those windows, the living wall of trees just beyond the glass, the changing light of four full seasons. They chose Summer Blooms. Hung above the sideboard, the piece does something quietly extraordinary: it brings the meadow indoors. In January, when the landscape outside is deep in snow, that burst of pink and rose and wildflower above the buffet is summer, present, and unhurried. In August, it's a mirror of everything just beyond the glass. This is what pressed flower art does that nothing else can — it holds a season still, and gives it back to you whenever you need it most. ©Lawless Designs
